PSY 280: Abnormal Psychology

This course is designed to give an appreciation and understanding of the etiology, nature, and treatment of selected emotional and psychological disorders. The central topics of this course will cover abnormal behavior in our society, casual factors, stress, the various psychological problems and mental disorders via DSM V, clinical assessment, psychological treatments and contemporary issues in Abnormal Psychology. Offered in the spring semester only.

Prerequisites

PSY 101 and placement in ENG 101.
