The Tutoring Center provides tutoring services for all students enrolled at Clinton Community College and encourages students to develop their academic skills and gain confidence in an academic environment. Our tutors are upper-level students at our neighboring college, experienced professionals, or adjunct instructors with working and teaching experience in their content specialties. This experience gives the tutoring staff a strong understanding of class material and student needs.
Beyond class content, the Tutoring Center offers academic coaching and workshops focused on developing non-content skills needed to succeed in classes. The staff works with students to develop note taking, test taking, and study skills as well as time management and organizational strategies that support your classroom work.
